The first week Dag spent in the engine room cleaning fuel and water tanks. Not the most exciting job, but they needed volunteers and it was an interesting experience.
This week the academy has started up, Jorid is writing reports and Dag is seeing patients in the crew clinic - life is getting back to normal on board.On Jan 24th it was an article about our family in "Søndag", Dagbladet`s Sunday magazine. It was written by Jennie Larsson, a Swedish freelancer who visited the ship in Benin some months ago. The article was great but had a few facts wrong: As Linde and Bendik pointed out; they are not 13 and 11, but 14 and 12!! Jorid was referred to as a doctor and uroligist. It sounds cool but is not correct. She is a nurse with specialization within urology (a urotherapist). 
Anyway, we hope the article can raise some positive awareness for Mercy Ships in Norway. Dag
